Mercator Enterprises Ltd is a fully-regulated, ATOL-protected UK Tour Operator – and is a company committed to customer satisfaction and consumer financial protection. We provide clients such consumer and financial protection, reassurance, peace of mind and quality service in a variety of ways through our:
All the flight-only bookings and flight-inclusive package holidays available via Revealed Travel and/or featured on this website are financially protected by the ATOL scheme. When you pay Mercator Enterprises you will be supplied with an ATOL Certificate. Please ask for it and check to ensure that everything you booked (flights, hotels and other services) is listed on it. Please see our booking conditions for further details and/or for more information about financial protection and the ATOL Certificate go to: www.atol.org.uk/
You can check Mercator Enterprises’ ATOL credentials on the official CAA’s ATOL web site.
Please note that ATOL bonding only applies to bookings made within the UK. For further information visit the ATOL website at www.atol.org.uk.
To enable all Mercator Enterprises Ltd (trading as Revealed Travel) bookings to qualify for ATOL protection Revealed Travel does not at present provide package bookings without including at least one flight. However, this could be a domestic or intra-regional flight sold alongside ground arrangements such as hotels, transfers and included excursions as part of an in-country and destination package where it is possible for clients to separately book their own international flights from and back to the UK.
Mercator Enterprises Ltd (trading as Revealed Travel) can also sell single-item travel bookings without included flights at a client’s own risk, such as accommodation only or a one-off single transfer, or a one-off stand-alone tour/excursion/activity, or a single event attraction/concert ticket, or a single train or ferry journey – however, for the avoidance of any doubt, where such travel services form a part of a wider package with other travel services then, to qualify for ATOL-protection, such package bookings must include at least one flight (be it domestic, intra-regional or international).
It could be that going forward Mercator Enterprises Ltd (trading as Revealed Travel) decides to change the above-referenced policy and at a later date offer package holidays without flights of any kind, in which case this notice will be updated and Mercator Enterprises Ltd (trading as Revealed Travel) will financially protect such bookings for clients via Financial Failure Insurance, and the details of any such Financial Failure Insurance will appear on this page.
